I am just starting out in my career, and my educational journey has been diverse and enriching. I graduated from the bilingual French High School, formerly known as Confederation and now called Franco Niagara. Following that, I pursued higher education at Niagara College, where I successfully completed the Business program and later earned an Occupational Health and Safety diploma from the Toronto School of Business. Additionally, I furthered my knowledge by graduating from the Real Estate program at Humber College.
My professional journey has been marked by a 22-year tenure at TRW, now THK, where I primarily worked in the Forge. Alongside my corporate experience, I ventured into entrepreneurship by becoming the owner-operator of Auberge TY Lyon, a bed and breakfast nestled in NOTL. I also took on the role of an investor and co-owner in a family-operated boutique winery, Vignoble Rancourt Winery. Moreover, I assumed the responsibilities of an owner, landlord, and property manager for various residential units, ranging from single-family homes to 12-unit buildings.
While I now call Niagara Falls my hometown, I have also resided in St. Catharines and NOTL for extended periods, which has enriched my understanding of the region.
My journey into real estate stems from a lifelong passion that began when my parents purchased their first investment properties when I was just a young lad. Over the past two decades, my wife and I have followed in their footsteps, and now, I aspire to help both new and experienced individuals navigate their real estate needs, whether it’s their first investment property or their forever home.
My personal philosophy when assisting clients is to facilitate and guide them through what can be a very stressful time. I want to provide them with the benefit of my experience and time, helping them make educated, well-informed decisions regarding what could potentially be the most significant purchase of their lives.
In life, I adhere to the motto “Stay positive; every obstacle has a solution.”
My favorite aspect of living in Niagara is the people. The region boasts a kind and friendly population, making it an ideal place to raise a family.
In my leisure time, I have pursued a variety of hobbies over the years, ranging from playing hockey and working out to practicing yoga and mindfulness. I also enjoy the thrill of riding Harleys and savoring quiet moments with a good book.
My family includes an incredible wife and partner, Tricia Rancourt, and two amazing boys, Austin and Jaxon, who each inspire me in their own unique ways. We also share our home with two Shih Tzu dogs named Freckles and Coco.
